As the Chief Revenue Officer at Hosting Haven, you’ll be responsible for shaping and executing our revenue strategy across all services.
You’ll work closely with leadership and department heads to design sustainable growth plans, launch new monetization models, and strengthen our partnerships.
Your focus is ensuring that our free hosting ecosystem remains accessible while also developing paid offerings that support long-term stability.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine Hosting Haven’s pricing strategy across free and paid plans.
- Monitor revenue performance and adjust pricing or resources as needed to ensure sustainability.
- Identify opportunities to expand or restructure paid tiers while protecting the accessibility of free hosting.
- Forecast growth and prepare financial models to guide leadership decisions.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure and Support teams to align resource allocation with revenue goals.
- Ensure clear, transparent communication of plan features and costs to the community.
Nice to have
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making.
- Familiarity with revenue operations, pricing models, or SaaS-style monetization.
- Experience writing documentation or content that explains pricing and value clearly.
- Interest in experimenting with new revenue approaches (microplans, donations, bundles).
- Comfort working in a volunteer-driven, early-stage project environment.
